Are You Highly Sensitive? Take The Test & Learn More

You are more than you know

A lot of HSPs don’t know they are highly sensitive and believe something is wrong with them that they feel so deeply and are so sensitive to the world around them. I love to inform and transform how HSPs are valued in society and how they value themselves.

Highly sensitives make excellent leaders and are called to help heal humanity and the planet through their own interests and creations, sharing what they know with the other 80% of the population.

There are at least 1.4 billion Highly Sensitive people in the world, that is around 20% of the population. You are not alone, misunderstood-yes.

Are you? Is someone close to you?

Below I share a self test, a list of famous highly sensitive people and other information I believe you’d like to know as well as other resources.  There is nothing wrong with you, you have superpowers to help humanity survive and thrive!

Are You Highly Sensitive? A Self-Test

Answer each question according to the way you personally feel.  If the answer is a strong true then it is a YES, if it is not very true then it is a NO.

·       I seem to be aware of subtleties in my environment.

·       Other people’s moods affect me.

·       I find myself needing to withdraw during busy days, into bed or into a darkened room or any place where I can have some privacy

·       I am particularly sensitive to the effects of caffeine.

·       I am easily overwhelmed by things like bright lights, strong  smells, coarse fabrics, or sirens close by.

·       I have a rich, complex inner life.

·       I am deeply moved by the arts or music.

·       My nervous system sometimes feels so frazzled that I just have to go off by myself.

·       I have a strong intuition even though I may not use it

·       I get rattled when I have a lot to do in a short amount of time.

·       I tend to know what needs to be done to make people      comfortable (like changing the lighting or the seating).

·       I am annoyed when people try to get me to do too many things at once.

·       I try hard to avoid making mistakes or forgetting things.

·       I make a point to avoid violent movies and TV shows.

·       I become unpleasantly aroused when a lot is going on around me.

·       I find it unpleasant to have a lot going on at once.

·       I feel other people’s feelings and take them on as my own

·       As a child,  I was labeled sensitive or shy.

If you answered 12 or more most likely you are Highly Sensitive. If you answered less than 12 but they are very strong you could very well be highly sensitive also. Read more and see if the knowledge resonates with you.

Personal experience has taught me that it is not merely important to learn about the nature of one’s sensitivity from books or movies, but also to learn through fellowship and friendship with others who are also highly sensitives. The sharing of life experience that comes with being Highly Sensitive can be as important as a teacher or any book.
